We are now setting up lots of clients on a product called Xero, which is a web based accounting system that helps us deliver leading accounting and support services to a wide range of businesses. Online Accounting or Web-based solutions enable you to run your business from anywhere there is an Internet connection and have the added advantage of being subscription based, so you pay a regular monthly amount and always have access to the latest version of the software.
There are some really useful features within Xero to help you simplify your accounting processes, including the automatic importing of Bank Statements (called Bank Feeds) and the automatic matching of transactions to speed up the reconciliation process. A number of high quality reports are included as standard, giving you an instant view of business performance and key business indicators; you can even email Sales Invoices and statements to your customers as PDF’s.
